March Goals

I’m back with a bonus post today, because I keep forgetting to put my goals up here, and next week it will be mid-March! I neglected to post my January and February goals, so we won’t go back to December to review progress like I normally do. Let’s have a fresh start, shall we? Here’s what’s on my monthly PowerSheets for March.

  1. Start Prenatal Yoga. I found a great studio that hosts three prenatal yoga classes a week taught by doulas, and I already started! It has been so fun so far, because these classes are not just about practicing yoga. They are about bonding with other women, learning about pregnancy, labor, and delivery, and creating community! This is just in time, because the aches and pains are starting.
  2. Take Our Bikes Out on a Trail at Least Once. This is the goal on this list I am most skeptical about, mainly because it is 30ish degrees and windy here right now! But we just need one nice weekend day.
  3. File Taxes! Womp. Womp. Hopefully this weekend this will be done.
  4. See One Play. We missed ourKing Charles III date night due to sickness, so I’m considering that a donation to the arts and trying again tomorrow. Thankfully, the Shakespeare Theater Company has $25 tickets for people under 35! Just use coupon code 17UNDER35.
  5. Make Master Baby To-Do List. I am not in the overwhelmed or nesting phase of pregnancy yet, but I know I will be. I am, however, kind of unsure of how to start making progress. Thus, my first goal is to figure out what needs to be done and outline a master to-do list!
  6. Read One Book. I just started The Circle Maker, and it is a good candidate for this.
  7. Cultivate a Consistent Prayer Time. Speaking of prayer, this is one of my 30 before 30 goals. I’ve started by putting prayer very first thing in the morning before Bible study and then writing in a prayer journal for Baby Marks each evening.
  8. Host a New Member Junior League Wine and Cheese Night. I just wanted to gather some of the great ladies I’ve met through Junior League so far to get to know them better, so I’m planning a little wine (not for me) night chez moi. If you’re in the Junior League and want to come, please get in touch!
