Thanksgiving 2018

We had such a sweet Thanksgiving in Missouri with my family and our little turkey this year! We stayed a whole week, and it still felt pretty short. I like to settle in. It was great to get to see all my (living) grandparents, my aunt and uncle and two cousins and my cousin-to-be, Taylor! 🙂 And obviously we got to spend lots of time with my parents. Victoria wore all the pumpkin and turkey-themed clothes I could fit in a suitcase, and we had a ball at two children’s museums and a pretty cool playground. My mom set a beautiful table for a delicious Thanksgiving meal, and we all enjoyed playing cards after we ate (Will learned bridge, but I didn’t have the patience). Plus, Granny and Daddy John have a bunch of cool new toys! Here are a few snippets of the week in photos.

My dad and Will had fun with Victoria at the Magic House after we landed while I snuck out to grab a quick coffee with my friend Ida. It’s always such a treat to see old friends. V loved the Magic House!

There were lots of walks with Lucy and Daddy John, especially to go look for deer in my parents’ yard.

She loved the Discovery Playhouse in Cape too!

There was lots of playing with Lucy and learning how to shake her finger at her and say “no no no no no no no.”

This may be my favorite. It looks like she’s tap dancing!

The cousins who were there! We missed Andrew, Elizabeth, Mallory, and Alden.

We are SO excited to be a flower girl again for James and Taylor’s wedding in July! It’s going to be beautiful!

Victoria is more excited than she looks.

With all my grandparents!

It’s so good to have Grandmom living in my parents’ town now, so it’s a lot easier to see her!

My people.

Great Grandmas help with mealtime. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving!

Roomba toddler adventures.

We had a meltdown during landing, but we got a seat for her both ways, and generally coloring books and stickers are entertaining her these days, so we can’t complain!
