Fall is finally in the air in DC, and today we are enjoying 60-degree weather, blue, sunny skies, and a light breeze perfect for a long afternoon walk! Tomorrow’s agenda includes a big outing to the pumpkin patch, and you know there will be lots of photos! I have missed writing these Friday Favorites posts, because it really helps me notice the little things that are making me smile throughout the week. So here are some fun things we are loving lately!

A New Fall Wreath!
Wreath from Balsam Hill
We are really living up all the fall things possible this year, and I’m so proud of all we have accomplished by mid-October. 🙂 We even decorated for fall back in late September! My favorite piece is definitely this new fall wreath from Balsam Hill my mom got me for my birthday. I’ve been wanting a front door for a wreath collection forever, and that dream has finally come true! It lights up at night too.

Diffusing Oils Around the House
I started using oils from my friend Rachel this year, but it took me a while to really get into a good habit of using them! I still love a fall candle, but more often I’ve been diffusing Young Living Orange, Thieves, Stress Away, and Christmas Spirit around the house! It smells like happiness in here.

Bookroo Books
We started getting books from a monthly children’s book subscription service, Bookroo, back in April, and we have really been appreciating them recently! Victoria could read the same book 100 times a day, but mama needs some variety, so it’s always a treat when these arrive at our door. I love that they are wrapped too!

J.Crew Sweater Blazers
Now that the temperatures have dropped, my new mom uniform is skinny jeans, some kind of boots/flats/loafers, a turtleneck or tshirt, and one of these J.Crew sweater blazers! They are so cozy, make me feel put-together, and require no effort, so I got them in several colors! They have them at the regular J.Crew in several styles, and at J.Crew Factory!

Terra Sweets and Apples Chips
I’ve been really trying to buy most of our groceries at Aldi lately, because it’s SO cheap, but my girl and I still love a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods run for the things I can’t get there. Really, it’s so much more fun grocery shopping now that she’s with me, and the fall displays are so great. We always love the pumpkin everything at TJ’s. One thing I’ve been reunited with this fall is my old love, Terra Sweets and Apples chips! They are divine with a touch of cinnamon and just addictive.
